Interoception—the ability to notice sensations inside the body—is the foundation of nervous system regulation. Through a Polyvagal-informed approach, increasing somatic awareness helps you recognize stress responses early and respond with choice rather than reactivity.

02. Autonomic Nervous System Regulation

The autonomic nervous system shapes how we respond to stress, connect with others, and move through daily life. When it’s dysregulated, we may feel anxious, shut down, reactive, or exhausted. Teaching ANS regulation helps people understand their stress responses as adaptive—not broken—and learn how to return to balance more efficiently.
